Go to google and search on "seo web hosting" which is an incredibly competitive keyword phrase, as evidenced by all the ADWORDS PPC ads on the top and side of this search! Check it out... I own the first page of Google for "seo web hosting"! I am using Google's webmaster guidelines and terms of service (this is called "white hat" search engine optimization -the best kind to use to avoid being removed from google!) Ok, enough talk :)

Competition: very high (as evidenced by big company's like RACKSPACE buying PPC ads!)
People Competing for this term: 2,600,000++!
PPC: yes, top and sides (this indicates a very competitive keyword(s)
Results: 2-3 Top Positions (2!, 4, and 8 on dec 7th)
Summary: Not just one web site on first page of google, BUT 2/3!!
